Although CLAT is supposed to be most prestigious Law Entrance Exam in India, in which more than 50,000 students compete for just 2500 seats. So seat is to selection ratio is 1 : 20. The exam takers are meritorious students of top schools and different boards across India. This is what which makes this Exam most difficult. Many of the candidates who aspire to pursue career in Law, write CLAT but fail to crack it. Such of the candidates get disappointed but they must know that CLAT is not the only gateway to Top Law schools in India. While the CLAT examination is conducted for admission to 21 of the coveted National Law Schools, they are not the only renowned law institutions in India. There are other institutes such as Symbiosis International University, Banaras Hindu University, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, O.P Jindal Global Law School, SRM University etc. that offer good law programs.
