CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It is an all-India entrance examination conducted by the National Law Schools | Universities for admissions to their undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). The CLAT exam is conducted on rotation, based upon the order of their establishment, by 26 National Law Universities (NLUs). Earlier there were 24 National Law Universities. The newly added universities are RPNLU, Prayagraj & IIULER, Goa
