Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University commonly known as IP University was established in 1998, IPU CET 2019 Hotel Management Entrance Exam will be conducted for the admission to Bachelors of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) Courses at IP University. Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BCIHMCT) runs a four-year BHMCT program, as per the curriculum designed by Indraprastha University. The norms and standards for delivery of the courses are as laid down by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, and Government of India.

IP CET (BHMCT) 2019 Eligibility:
Eligibility criteria for IP-CET (BHMCT) the entrance test for hotel management course offered by IPU is as follows:
- The candidates must have passed 12 class or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
- The candidate must have also passed English core as a subject.
- As on 01.08.2018, candidate should not be beyond 21 years of age.
- Candidates awaiting results / appearing for the qualifying exam can also appear for CET subject to the fulfillment of the above conditions on a declaration of the result.
