The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities around the country.
CLAT is organized by the Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities.
Due to the ongoing Lockdown arising out of the Corona Virus outbreak, the Consortium of National Law Universities has rescheduled the following:
The deadline for online applications – Monday, May 18, 2020 2.
The examination date – Sunday, June 21, 2020 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
The CLAT 2020 exam will be conducted on Sunday, 21st June, 2020 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Registrations are open since 1st January, 2020 and will remain open until 18th May, 2020.
In December last year, the NLU Consortium had intimated that there will be a change in the question pattern for the CLAT for UG admissions (BA LLB). In this regard, it has been informed that comprehension based questions would be asked from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.
Further, the number of questions will be reduced from 200 to 120-150 questions. The descriptive portion will remain the same as last year’s pattern.
Schools, colleges and universities have been closed since March 16 when the Central government had announced a nationwide classroom shutdown to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.
After that, a nationwide lockdown was announced on March 24, which was further extended till May 17.
As the Corona virus situation continues in the country, we, SUCCESS MANTRA (GTB NAGAR) COACHING INSTITUTES have started conducting online classes to ensure that the students preparing for entrance examinations do not face a setback because of lockdown.
All our regular classroom batches are running on schedule without any delay or disruption, with the faculties taking live online classes. The live classes shall continue till the restrictions are there and then the students can gradually return to the classroom delivery as things go back to normal, plus an additional online advantage will remain same after lockdown in form of online podium i.e. EASE VIDYA APPLICATION for mobile and website. The live classes follow the same pedagogy of high-quality teaching as their classroom coaching programs.
