ABOUT CTET 2019

Central Teaching Eligibility Test commonly known as (CTET) is a national level Entrance examination conducted by Central Board of secondary education, Delhi. CTET exam is conducted twice in a year by CBSE in the month of December & July. As per Notification, CTET 2019 exam to be scheduled for 7 July 2019.

CTET Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India to be eligible for CTET.
  • Candidate minimum age should be 17 years.
  • Candidate must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) OR
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Procedure to fill CTET 2019 form:

CTET 2019 Application form can be filled in Online mode only. The last date to fill the Application form for  CTET 2019 is 8th March 2019. Follow the steps given below to fill the application form:

  • Candidates have to visit official Website of CTET i.e ctet.nic.in
  • Click on the Apply for CTET 2019. Enter all your personal information like father’s name, mother name, Date of birth etc as mentioned in class 10th
  • Fill all your academics, communication details. Once done upload the photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
  • After uploading of the images choose the payment options whether candidate wants to pay Online or Through e Challan.
  • After successfully paying the Application fee Take a print out of your Application form.

Application Fees

The Application fees can be paid via online & offline mode. Candidates can apply for CTET 2019 Exam by logging in to the official website of CTET after the notification for the same has been released.

Exam Pattern of CTET 2019

The Exam Pattern of CTET 2019 Comprises 2 Papers- Paper 1 (Primary Stage) & Paper 2 (Elementary stage)

  • Candidates who intend to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5 can appear for Paper 1
  • Candidates who intend to become a teacher for classes 6 to 8 can appear for Paper 2
  • Candidate must have secure 60% and above marks in CTET Exam will be issued eligibility certificate.
  • Candidates can appear for both the papers if he wishes to qualify for recruitment at both levels.
