The first step to begin preparing for any exam is to know the exam pattern and the topics covered in the exam. Knowledge of the syllabus and the weightage assigned to each section will help you formulate the correct CLAT 2021 preparation strategy.

• Duration of the examination: 2 hours or 120 minutes

• Each question is of 1 mark with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. Therefore, four wrong answers will lead to deduction of 1 Mark.

Reasoning - This section is comparatively easier and getting all the 30 questions correct might not be very difficult. Legal Reasoning - It's the legal reasoning section which needs thorough preparation as these are relatively newer areas for many of the scholars.
