Symbiosis offers a 3-year undergraduate program B.A in mass communication( Symbiosis BJMC) to aspirants who want to build their careers in journalism and mass communication. The BA(MC) program offers specialization courses in Print/Broadcast Journalism, Data Journalism, Radio, Digital Advertising and Branding, Advertising Planning, Screenwriting, Copywriting, Digital Films and Television, Public Relations & Corporate Communications.

Every year symbiosis conducts SET(Symbiosis Entrance Test) for selection of students in various undergraduate and graduate courses offered by the institute.

Eligibility criteria for aspirants seeking admission in symbiosis center of media and communication for pursuance in B.A in mass communication are mentioned below:

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes))

OR

  • Government-approved diploma (10+3) with minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes)

Application-Form

Fill in the application Form

The first and foremost step towards admission is to fill in the application form, available on the official website. Application fee of Rs 1500 needs to be paid online through credit/Debit card or net banking.

Download The Admit Card

After you are done with submitting the Application form, you need to download the Admit Card from the official website, which will be released in the last week of April 2023.

Appear for the entrance Exam

The entrance exam will be held somewhere in the 1st week of May 2023. You need to appear for the examination. Don’t forget to carry an Admit card along with you. You will not be allowed to sit in the exam without this.

See your result

Check the SET 2023 result which will be declared in the second week of May 2023. The score in the exam will decide the next course of action. If you can qualify for the SET exam, you will be called for a personal interview and WAT.

Appear for personal interview and WAT 

The overall performance in written test, PI and WAT will decide your admission in symbiosis center of media and communication, Pune.

Written Test is followed by PERSONAL INTERACTION AND WRITING ABILITY TEST (PI-WAT) OR STUDIO TEST AND PERSONAL INTERACTION (ST-PI).
