IPMAT 2024 Exam 2024


IPMAT 2024 exam is the gateway to India's most sought-after management program - i.e. Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak conduct the exam annually for admissions to their flagship program. Students who get into this programme would finish their Undergraduate from IIM Rohtak IPM after the first three years.


At the completion of these 3 years, if students maintain a minimum CGPA of 5, they will be eligible to continue with the 2-year PGDM/MBA programme. If they don't meet the eligibility criteria, then they will have to exit the programme with a BBA degree. At the end of the 2-year programme every student will be awarded an MBA degree. At the end of the third year, students also have the option of quitting the college. In a such case, they will be awarded a BBA degree from IIM Rohtak.

Eligibility Criteria for IPMAT Exam 2024


Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this programme.


  • General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2024
  • SC, ST and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30, 2024

Admission Procedure for IPMAT Exam 2024


  1. Online Registration

After checking the eligibility criteria the candidate can get themselves registered buy filling the form with the required details and paying the application fee of Rs. 4,500.


  1. IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT 2024)

All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test that will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicant. Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions.


  1. Online Personal Interview (PI)

The shortlisted applicants will be called for a Personal Interview on the basis of minimum eligibility criteria and IPM AT Score 2024. The announcement of Call for Personal Interviews (PI) will be done in the First Week of June 2024 (Tentative). The candidates during their personal interviews will be judged on the basis of their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.


  1. Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance

The Final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPM AT 2024, Past Academics, and Personal Interview. The institute will tentatively announce the merit list by the first week of July 2024.

1. What is age limit for IIM IPM program ?

There is no age limit for candidates. Even candidates completed their diploma and degree may apply.

2. What is the marking scheme of IPMAT?

For every correct response +4 marks are awarded. For incorrect response 1 mark is deducted. However there is no negative marking for SA questions

3. What is the selection process for IPM program ?

i. The candidates need to appear for the Aptitude Test conducted by IIM-Indore (or SAT for international applicants)

ii. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a round of Personal Interview.

4. Who is an international candidate ?

An applicant is considered as an International Applicant if he/she meets the following criteria:

a) Persons who are permanent citizens of a country other than India and residing outside India

b) Non Resident Indians (NRIs) who are not in India during Aptitude Test

5. What is the eligibility criteria of international students ?

a) Minimum 60% in X and XII standards or equivalent examinations

b) Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 1999

IPM is a 5 year programme comprising 15 terms with each year having 3 terms of 3 months each. The first 3 Years are dedicated to the Undergraduate Management course (BBA) while the final 2 years are dedicated to the Masters Course (MBA).

The students are awarded Bachelors' degree (BBA) after the completion of the first 3 years and Post-Graduate Degree (MBA) after completing the final 2 years by IIM-Indore/IIM-Rohtak.
